Adiós Diablos Rojos! (Tribute)

In League News by Steve Jarriel

In what is truly the end of an era, Diablos Rojos has dropped out of NOVA-CL. The team manager, Matthew Knight, expressed huge thanks to all of you for the memories of playing against your teams, but said Diablos Rojos can no longer meet its league obligations due to low player turnout.
This team will be remembered as a special one. Perhaps more than any other in league history, Diablos Rojos has embodied and fulfilled the sportsmanship expectations to which we all aspire. And they also fielded some pretty kick ass teams. My own experience of playing them dates back to 1999, when some epic matches were played on what were, at that time, grass fields at South Run on cool Friday evenings.  Former team manager Raul Ricaurte also provided sensible, trusted feedback on league affairs during the many years he ran the team.
Adiós, Diablos Rojos! We thank you for being a great member of this league.
